Socorro aos Necessitados is a civil association, in philanthropy character, with non profit, and founded by people who affected with poverty in September 21st, 1921.
The institution maintains the Day-care Centre “Meu Pequeno Reino” (110 child’s), the Aged Home “Recanto do Tarumã” (100 aged), and a technical association with Maternal school “Annette Macedo” (200 child’s). The aim of Socorro aos Necessitados is a better life for a people to embrace.
At the 2002 and 2005, the organization wins the “Prêmio Bem Eficiente” award, it recognizes the 50 best brazilian philanthropic entities.
In this decades of work, the institution comes more structure to offer the best to needy peoples, also haves a professional team and a plant which brings more life quality to aged and children, what it consolidate actually one of the most traditional entities in Paraná state – Brazil.
